My Study Abroad Experience

To say that my study abroad experience was the scariest, exhilarating, most life-changing experience is an understatement. As I sit in the Miami airport shortly after arriving back to the US, the amount of emotion built up is quite frankly, consuming. So for my own sanity, because we all know I have very little of it, I wanted to use blogging in order to help me process my feelings and emotions, but also be able to share my emotional experience with anyone contemplating doing a study abroad, or even just traveling out of the country for the first time.

Finding Thanks in Everything…Even the Little Things

Hello my little pumpkins! For me, November is a month where I find it necessary to take a step back and be grateful for even the smallest of things we take for granted on a daily basis. It’s so easy to overlook being grateful for things that are so easily attainable in today’s world. I wanted to use this post not only to give thanks, but to spread awareness that much of what we are used to, much of what we take for granted, are things that are far from accessible in other countries, let alone for many families in this country.
